For a Bright Future ("FABF") is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created to support the needs of underrepresented and underprivileged children through education, healthcare, the arts, and youth leadership development. Our initiatives provide equal opportunity for all children to have the tools and opportunities to fulfill their life goals and become constructive members of our global community.

  • The Media Lab is a partnership between the Foundation, high schools, and media industry partners to provide a unique learning experience for students. Led by experienced media professionals, the program exposes students to the most advanced technologies in the media industry.

  • Louis Hernandez Jr. is the Creative Director of Bad Angel Photographer. The organization donates its time and energy exclusively to exhibitions for For A Bright Future Foundation.

  • Its most recent exhibition, entitled Hope. Courage. Triumph. Everyday Heroes among us had Louis traveling around the world capturing over 15,000 images of which 125 were used in 16 stories highlighting the incredible inspirational existence of many underprivileged communities.

AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

The Ambassador Program is a unique volunteer opportunity for high-performing high school and college students to develop their leadership skills by helping the Foundation in its mission to support underprivileged and underrepresented students to achieve their educational goals.

HEALTHCARE PARTNERS  

  • Louis Hernandez Jr. actively supports the equal access of underserved children to healthcare. 

  • The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation named Hernandez a Community Leader of the Year in honor of his many contributions to the community

  • Hernandez has funded the Connecticut Children's Hospital, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, among others. 

     SACRED RELATIONSHIP

Our sacred relationship with the Vatican's Eminence, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller’ Dominus Jesus Association is a pioneering initiative is focused on the social good through advanced support by bringing a technology ecosystem to underserved areas.

 

This relationship is focused on creating social and economic stability in key regions around the world. It will be creating jobs in low-income areas all around the world, with focus on high-density Catholic populations, by providing support in early stage to mid-market technology companies in areas where Louis Hernandez, Jr.’s Black Dragon has direct operating and investment expertise, and where the lead Partner of this initiative believes that it can have a positive impact on the operations of the company in addition to the societal benefit.
